The diesel version is very powerful, isn't it, the petrol is quieter, but you have to rotate it.. which is the secret tip? which variation is more reliable to spend the family's saved money on? Yeah, I have this car after having had an Astra with 130HP /300 Nm torque, that thing was a total rocket ! This engine is a MASSIVE come down and really had to get used to it ! (Changed jobs, so didn't need the diesel anymore, there for changed to petrol) By no means can this engine be called fast on longer stretches. Nippy enough around town. For something fast you need to look at the 1.4 turbo version with 200 Nm torgue at least.
